The mediaeval cook was no stranger to the use of herbs and botanical plants. All variety of herbs were found in her garden including hyssop, fennel, saffron, roses, rosemary, rue, mint, parsley, sage, savory, and garlic. She used them with indulgence in her kitchen to add flavor to meals. This limited edition is a precise replica of the original Mediaeval Cooks woodcut from Kurchenmeisterey, Augsburgh Johann Froschaurer, 1507.
